Organization: Offsite Network Global (ONG)
Role type: Governance seat with compensation, 2 year term
Location: National role. Directors may be based in or near Orlando, Savannah, Dallas and Fort Worth, Los Angeles and the Inland Empire, Houston, Seattle and the Spokane corridor, Atlanta, Boise and the Treasure Valley, Phoenix, Denver and the Colorado Front Range, Washington, D.C. and Northern Virginia, Austin and Central Texas, Charlotte, Raleigh and Durham, or New York City and Northern New Jersey. We will consider other locations where there is strong potential for a member base.
About the role
Offsite Network Global connects modular and MMC professionals through membership, local chapters, tools, training, and careers. The Board of Directors sets the direction of the organization and is accountable for its financial health, growth, and reputation. This is a paid seat for leaders who want to shape the offsite construction community nationally.
Responsibilities
- Set strategy, annual priorities, and the budget with fellow directors
- Oversee financial performance, risk, and legal compliance
- Approve policies, chapter standards, and partnership agreements
- Help recruit members, sponsors, and chapter leaders
- Represent ONG at industry events and with owners, manufacturers, and developers
- Attend regular board meetings and serve on at least one committee
- Support and hold the executive team and chapter network accountable
Qualifications
- Senior experience in construction, real estate, manufacturing, finance, technology, or association leadership
- Working knowledge of offsite, modular, or prefabricated construction preferred
- Prior board or committee experience preferred
- Strong network in at least one of the markets listed
- Sound judgment, integrity, and willingness to commit time between meetings
Term and compensation
Two year term with the option to be renewed by board vote. This role is compensated. Compensation details are shared with finalists.
