1. Who we are and how to contact us

Offsite Network Global (“ONG,” “the Site,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) is the brand and public-facing network for modular and industrialized construction professionals.

The website and related online services described in this Policy are operated by:

In this Policy:

“ONG” and “Offsite Network Global” refer to the brand, website, membership program, chapters, Institute pages, media, careers features, and tools operated on this Site.

“Offsite Pro, LLC” is the legal entity that operates the Site and is responsible for the processing described here.

“you” means a visitor, member, applicant, chapter participant, job seeker, employer, student or faculty applicant, government applicant, or other user of the Site.

2. Scope and covered services

This Policy describes how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information through:

the ONG website, including production hosts such as www.offsitenetworkglobal.com and any publicly reachable staging or preview environments that collect the same categories of information;

Membership / Join, account creation, and sign-in;

Members directory and company listings;

Chapters (including Chicago, Atlanta, Idaho, and future chapters);

Offsite Pro Institute (OPI) pages, enrollment, certifications, and classroom / learning-portal access links;

Media and Offsite Dirt Network content hosted on or linked from the Site;

Careers / Job Board features, including resume upload and employer posting tools;

Tools / Modular Calculator and related project-scope tools;

contact, waitlist, and other forms on the Site.

Linked or separately operated properties. The Directory experience, Institute learning portal / LMS, payment checkout, LinkedIn sign-in, and Offsite Dirt Network or other media destinations may be powered by our own systems, by embedded third-party tools, or by sites we only link to. When you follow a link and leave this Site, or when an embedded tool is provided by another company, that property may have its own privacy notice and may independently control information collected there. This Policy covers information we collect on or through the ONG Site. It does not control how an independent third party uses information it collects as a separate controller.

What this Policy does not cover. It does not cover information collected offline except to the extent that information is later combined with Site records; employee or contractor HR files (except as applicants use Careers tools); or third-party websites that do not post this Policy.

Providing information is often optional — but some features will not work without it. You may browse public pages without creating an account. Membership, chapter affiliation, paid Institute seats, Job Board tools, saved calculator work, and certain directory contact details require the information identified on the relevant form. If you do not provide required fields, we may be unable to create your account, process payment, verify a discounted membership type, complete a chapter affiliation, or respond to your request.

3. Information we collect

3.1 Information you provide

Depending on how you use the Site, you may provide:

Identity and contact information. Name, work or personal email, login email, phone number, mailing or business address, organization / employer, job title, and similar profile details.

Account and authentication information. Credentials for a WordPress account used across Membership, the Job Board, member portal, and Tools; information received when you choose Continue with LinkedIn (typically name and email from your LinkedIn OpenID profile); and a separate verification inbox when required for Student & Faculty or Government plans.

Membership and chapter information. Membership type (for example Service Provider, End User, Student & Faculty, or Government), primary chapter selection, optional additional chapter affiliations, waitlist interest in future chapters, and related billing selections.

Student and Government verification information. For discounted Student & Faculty memberships we ask for an academic email (for example .edu, .ac.uk, or another university domain). Consumer inboxes such as Gmail or Outlook are not accepted for that verification field. For Government memberships we ask for a city, state, or federal work inbox (for example a .gov address). Personal Gmail is not accepted. If your login email is already an academic or .gov address, a second verification inbox may not be required.

We use these fields to confirm eligibility for the selected plan. We do not request government identification numbers (such as a Social Security number, driver’s-license number, or passport number) as part of the current Join flow, and you should not upload government ID images unless we expressly ask for them in a later, documented process. Supporting documents are not part of the current standard Join form. Eligibility is reviewed against the email domain and information you submit and may be reviewed by ONG administrators. Chapter or membership administrators may see membership type, chapter affiliation, and directory profile fields needed to operate the chapter; they are not given government ID numbers because we do not collect them in the standard flow.

If you cannot use an academic or government email, contact us at the address in Section 16. We may offer an alternative verification method in individual cases (for example a letter from a registrar or agency on official letterhead). Any alternative method will be limited to what is needed to confirm eligibility.

Payment-related information. When you purchase membership, additional chapter affiliations, or Institute seats, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment status, last four digits or similar tokenized card metadata, billing email, and plan / line-item details. We do not receive or store your full payment-card number on ONG systems.

Careers and recruiting information. Resumes and related application materials you upload or import (including through a LinkedIn-connected import, when that feature is enabled), work history, education, role preferences, and employer job-post content.

Calculator and Tools inputs. Project or scope inputs you enter into the Modular Calculator or related tools (for example quantities, system choices, or other estimate parameters). Outputs are estimates and decision-support tools, not bids or offers.

Communications. Messages, support requests, waitlist notes, and other content you send us.

Institute / learning information. Enrollment selections, course or certification interest, classroom-portal identifiers, and progress or completion records once the LMS is active for your account.

3.2 Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site we automatically collect:

IP address, approximate location derived from IP, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed, dates and times of access, and similar usage data;

cookie and similar-technology identifiers, as described in Section 8;

server and security logs used to operate, debug, and protect the Site.

3.3 Information from other sources

We may receive information from:

LinkedIn, if you sign in or import profile / resume data through LinkedIn;

Stripe, regarding payment status;

your organization or a chapter administrator, if they invite or roster you;

employers or directory companies, if they post roles or manage a company profile that includes your professional details;

publicly available professional sources, when we reasonably need to maintain a directory listing or prevent fraud.

We combine this information with information we already hold where it is consistent with this Policy.

3.4 Sensitive or higher-risk information

We treat Student/Government verification emails, resumes, and precise contact details as higher-sensitivity operational data. We do not seek to collect government identifiers, precise geolocation, health information, or other categories often treated as “sensitive personal information” under California law, except to the limited extent a resume or message you choose to submit contains such details. Please do not include unnecessary sensitive information in resumes or form messages.

4. Sources of information

We collect personal information from:

You, when you browse, create an account, join, pay, use Tools, apply or post in Careers, contact us, or enroll in Institute offerings.

Your device and browser, through cookies, logs, and similar technologies.

Service providers that help us operate the Site (see Section 7).

Authentication and payments partners (currently LinkedIn and Stripe).

Other members, chapter leaders, and employers, when they interact with directory, chapter, or Job Board features.

5. How we use information

We use personal information to:

create and administer accounts and a single WordPress login that unlocks membership, the member portal, Job Board tools, and the calculator;

process membership types, chapter affiliations (including additional paid chapters), waitlists, and renewals;

verify Student & Faculty or Government eligibility;

process payments and prevent failed, fraudulent, or unauthorized transactions;

operate the Members directory, including a public teaser view (for example name, title or company, location, employee count, category, and company profile links) and member-only contact details (such as email or phone) for logged-in members;

operate chapters and communicate with affiliated members about chapter activity;

provide Institute information, enrollment, certifications, and classroom access as those features go live;

generate Modular Calculator and Tools estimates (not bids) and, if you are signed in, to remember or restore your work where that functionality exists;

operate Careers features, including resume storage for recruiting, job browsing, and employer posts aligned with Directory firms;

respond to inquiries and send operational communications — including account, membership, chapter, payment, security, Institute, Job Board, and legally required notices — not only emails you expressly request one-by-one;

send program or event information related to your membership or requested topics, where permitted by law (you may opt out of promotional messages; you cannot opt out of certain transactional or legally required messages while you have an account);

maintain security, prevent abuse, debug the Site, and understand aggregate usage;

improve the Site and our programs;

comply with law, enforce terms, and protect ONG, members, and the public.

We do not use calculator inputs to create a binding bid or contract. A calculator result is decision support only.

6. Legal bases (where applicable)

Offsite Pro, LLC is established in Florida, United States. If a data-protection law that requires a “legal basis” applies to you (for example the GDPR or UK GDPR for a person in the EEA or United Kingdom), we rely on one or more of the following:

Contract. Processing needed to provide the membership, account, payment, chapter, Institute, directory, Careers, or Tools feature you requested.

Legitimate interests. Operating a professional network, securing the Site, understanding how the Site is used, communicating with members about the network, and improving our programs — balanced against your rights.

Consent. Where we ask for consent (for example certain cookies or optional marketing), and you may withdraw it.

Legal obligation. Recordkeeping, tax, accounting, fraud prevention, and responding to lawful requests.

If those laws do not apply to you, we still describe these bases so our purposes are clear.

7. How we disclose information

We do not sell personal information for money. We disclose personal information only as described below.

7.1 Service providers (processors)

We use vendors that process information on our instructions to operate the Site. Categories, and specific providers where we can name them today:

7.2 Other members, chapters, and directory visibility

Public directory pages may show professional profile fields described in Section 5.

Logged-in members may see additional contact fields that you choose to include in your member profile.

Chapter administrators for chapters you join may receive the affiliation and profile information needed to run the chapter.

Employers who use Careers tools may receive resumes or applications you submit for a role.

You should assume professional directory fields may be visible to other professionals in the network. Use work contact details if you do not want a personal inbox listed.

7.3 Legal, safety, and business transfers

We may disclose information:

to professional advisers;

to law enforcement, regulators, or others if we believe disclosure is required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, or the integrity of the Site;

to parties involved in a contemplated or completed merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality protections;

with your direction or consent.

7.4 Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising (including California terms)

As of the effective date of this Policy, and based on current ONG practices:

We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.

We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are used in California law.

We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you.

We therefore do not currently operate a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link, because those activities are not turned on.

If we later use advertising pixels, data clean rooms, or similar tools that qualify as a “sale” or “share,” we will update this Policy, provide the required opt-out link or mechanism, and honor browser-based opt-out signals such as the Global Privacy Control (GPC) to the extent required.

These statements must be re-checked whenever analytics, advertising, CRM enrichment, or social pixels are installed.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

The prior policy’s single sentence about cookies was too broad. This is how the Site uses these technologies.

8.1 Categories

Strictly necessary. Required to load the Site, keep you signed in, complete Join and checkout, remember security state, and process forms. The Site cannot function correctly if these are blocked.

Preferences. Remember choices such as region or dismissed notices, if those features are enabled.

Analytics. Help us understand aggregate traffic and which pages are used. We will list the specific analytics tool here only if it is installed (for example a privacy-respecting first-party log, or a named third-party analytics service).

Advertising / marketing. Used only if we enable advertising or retargeting pixels. None are named in this Policy because we have not confirmed that any advertising pixel is active. If one is added, we will identify it and describe what it receives.

Third-party cookies. LinkedIn (if you use Continue with LinkedIn), Stripe (at checkout), and any embedded media, maps, or classroom tools may set their own cookies. Those companies act under their own policies when they do so.

8.2 How you can manage cookies

Use your browser settings to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in, checkout, and form submission.

Use industry tools and device settings to limit advertising identifiers where those apply.

If we deploy a consent banner, use it to accept or reject nonessential cookies. Rejecting nonessential cookies will not remove membership or calculator features that rely only on necessary cookies, but it may limit our ability to measure usage.

If we enable GPC support in connection with advertising, a GPC signal will be treated as an opt-out of sale/sharing.

8.3 What analytics or pixels receive

Until a specific analytics or advertising vendor is confirmed and listed in Section 7, assume that automatic collection is limited to our hosting, WordPress, and security logs (IP, device, URL, and similar technical data) plus any cookies needed to run accounts and payments. Counsel should inventory actual scripts in the production header/footer before publication.

9. Data retention

We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Criteria and current working periods:

For 18 months from upload or last update, unless you delete them sooner, you are hired through a process that requires a longer personnel record, or you ask us to keep a file active

Calculator / Tools inputs

Processed to generate the estimate. If you are not signed in, inputs are not used to build a lasting member profile. They may exist transiently in memory, be sent to our servers to compute a result, and appear in short-lived server logs (typically up to 90 days) for security and debugging. If you are signed in and the tool offers save/history, stored calculations are kept with your account until you delete them or the account is closed, then follow the membership-record period above. Calculator inputs are not retained as a bid file.

10. International transfers

ONG and Offsite Pro, LLC are based in the United States. The Site is hosted and personal information is processed in the United States and in any other country where our vendors operate.

If you access the Site from outside the United States, you understand that your information will be transferred to the United States, where privacy laws may differ from the laws of your country.

Where a law requires a specific transfer safeguard (for example the GDPR), we rely on the mechanisms our vendors actually offer — such as contractual clauses those vendors have implemented — and we will not claim that Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other named mechanisms apply unless counsel has confirmed them with each relevant vendor. Contact us if you need more information about a specific transfer.

11. Your privacy rights

Applicable rights depend on where you live and whether a particular statute covers ONG. We will not refuse a good-faith request merely because a statute’s numeric threshold might not apply, but we also do not promise a statutory right that does not exist.

11.1 Requests we will consider

Subject to the law that applies to you, you may ask us to:

access the personal information we hold about you;

correct inaccurate information;

delete information we no longer need to keep;

provide a copy of information you provided to us, in a portable format where required;

restrict or object to certain processing, where that right applies;

withdraw consent where we rely on consent (withdrawal does not affect processing already completed);

opt out of targeted advertising, “sale,” or “sharing,” if those activities later apply;

appeal a decision we make on a privacy request, where an appeal right applies.

11.2 How to submit a request

Email connect@offsitenetworkglobal.com with the subject line “Privacy Request” and tell us:

your name and the email(s) you use with ONG;

the type of request; and

enough detail for us to locate your records (for example membership type or chapter).

You may use an authorized agent where the law allows it. We may require signed permission from you and may still need to verify you directly.

11.3 Verification

We will verify that the request comes from the person whose information is at issue. That typically means matching the request to the email on the account and, if needed, asking for additional information we already hold (such as organization, last four of a transaction, or chapter). We will not ask you to send a government ID unless we reasonably need it to complete verification and no less-sensitive method works.

11.4 Timing and response

We will acknowledge and respond within the period required by the law that applies to your request. As a working standard we aim to respond within 45 days, and we will tell you if a permitted extension is needed. If we deny a request in whole or in part, we will explain why and, where required, how to appeal by replying to our decision email.

11.5 Additional California information

If you are a California resident and the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended, including the CPRA) applies to the request:

Categories collected include identifiers (name, email, phone, address, IP, account ID), commercial information (membership plan, purchases), professional / employment information (employer, title, resume), education information (student verification email / institution domain), internet / electronic activity (Site usage), and inferences only to the limited extent we derive simple operational notes (for example “Student plan pending verification”).

Sources, purposes, and recipients are described in Sections 3–7.

Retention is described in Section 9.

Sale / share / sensitive PI statements are in Section 7.4.

We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.

To exercise access, deletion, correction, or opt-out rights, use the process in Section 11.2.

We do not currently offer a standalone “Do Not Sell or Share” webpage because we do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. That page will be added if our practices change.

11.6 Other U.S. state laws

If you live in a state with a consumer privacy law that applies to ONG (including, where thresholds and exemptions are met, laws such as the Florida Digital Bill of Rights), you may have similar access, correction, deletion, and opt-out rights. Use the same request process. We will apply the law that actually governs the request.

11.7 EEA / UK / similar jurisdictions

If those laws apply, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. We encourage you to contact us first so we can try to resolve the issue.

12. Children’s privacy

The Site is a professional network for adults working in modular and offsite construction. It is not directed to children.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Student & Faculty memberships are intended for post-secondary students and faculty (college, university, or equivalent), not for K–12 children.

If we learn that we collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it.

If a Student & Faculty applicant is under the age of majority in their jurisdiction, we may require a parent or guardian to complete the membership, or we may decline the application until the applicant can join as an adult.

13. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the information we handle. These include access controls on the WordPress environment, HTTPS in transit, restriction of payment-card data to Stripe, limitation of Student/Government verification to email-domain checks rather than government ID numbers, and vendor contracts where we engage processors.

No website, transmission, or storage system is completely secure. We do not promise that unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction cannot occur. Please use a unique password for your ONG account and notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

14. Automated decision-making

We do not make solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about you.

Membership and plan eligibility. Student & Faculty and Government pricing uses rule-based checks on the email domain and information you submit. A person on our team may review edge cases. These checks determine a membership rate or whether a plan can be used; they are not credit, employment, or housing decisions.

Calculator / Tools. Results are generated by the tool’s estimating logic from the inputs you provide. They are estimates for your use. They do not approve or deny membership, payment, employment, or contracting.

Careers. Resume ranking or job matching, if introduced, will not be the sole means of a hiring decision by ONG. Employers who use the Job Board make their own hiring decisions.

Security. Automated filters may block obvious spam, bots, or abusive traffic.

If that changes, we will update this section and describe any legally required explanation or human-review option.

15. Third-party links and services

The Site may link to or embed:

the Members directory experience;

Offsite Pro Institute classroom / LMS or certification tools;

Offsite Dirt Network or other media properties;

LinkedIn authentication and resume import;

Stripe checkout;

company websites listed in the directory;

social or video embeds.

Embedded versus linked. A link takes you off the Site, after which the other property’s notice applies. An embedded tool (for example a checkout iframe, social login button, or classroom player) can send technical information — such as IP address, cookie IDs, and the fact that you are on an ONG page — to that third party before you leave our page. Review the third party’s notice before using the embed.

ONG is not responsible for the privacy practices of sites we do not control.

16. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time.

The effective date and last updated date appear at the top of this page.

For routine clarifications, the updated Policy will be posted on this page.

For material changes — for example a new advertising program, a new use of resumes, or a change in how calculator inputs are stored — we will provide additional notice reasonably calculated to reach affected users, such as an email to the address on your account or a prominent Site notice, before or when the change takes effect where required by law.

Your continued use of the Site after the effective date of an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy to the extent permitted by law. If you do not agree, close your account and stop using the Site.
